Soft Tissue

Soft Tissue is an investigation into the language of love and sexual landscapes.

We are a group of young people who have views and

opinions about what we want and how we want to live.

This performance has come through discussion about our life experiences, storytelling and friendship.

This isn’t about science, it’s not about brains,

it’s about hearts. And guts. Gut feelings

An investigation into the language of love and sexual landscapes.

How does it all work?

What are the pitfalls?

How do you deal with unrequited love and desire?

The production was part of Nottingham City Council’s Life Skills training programme aimed at encouraging young people to access further education or training.

The whole piece is one hour long and explores how relationships grow and fade for young people. It was written and devised over three weeks culminating in a week of public performance.
